Meet the Team

I’m Dr. Greg Baker, founder of Toothsure.

When I started my dental practice, our community didn’t have a pediatric dentist, nor did we have any dentists trained to treat patients with special needs. I felt that I had to do something about it, which involved traveling 1,400 every month to and from the University of Florida, School of Dentistry, and train at the Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. After two years, I started to provide specialized dental services at my local hospital in Hazard, Kentucky. Most of my patients are on Medicaid and can’t afford to travel out-of-town, especially when multiple visits are needed. Being able to contribute to their wellbeing has been one of the greatest joys of my professional life.

But more importantly, it opened my eyes to many other unmet needs in healthcare, and filled me with the desire to make it my life’s work to finding solutions that led to happier, healthier lives, full of more self-confidence, intimacy, and self-actualization. After 35 years of providing dental services to patients outside of traditional settings, I saw a need to create products that would help deliver better dental care outside of conventional environments. I became determined to revolutionize the oral healthcare industry with first-to-market toothbrushes that would allow people to take care of their mouth, conveniently, without a restroom. I designed these products for people on both ends of the movement spectrum: those who are on-the-go and those limited by their circumstances. We are working on several oral care product innovations: Disposable Toothbrushes, Reusable Toothbrushes, Medicine Dispenser Toothbrushes, Artificial Palate Expanders and VR Dental Training Software.

Outside of work, Subhrojyoti is a food and cuisine enthusiast who enjoys exploring new culinary experiences. He is also a car aficionado, often finding joy in both the mechanics and design of automobiles.

Karl Maier is Fractional Chief Financial Officer at Toothsure LLC

Karl has over 30 years of experience guiding companies to grow from to $10M and beyond. Karl brings deep financial knowledge as a CFO as well as experience building systems and processes to support rapidly scaling companies. 

Known for his out-of-the-box insights, Karl has guided many businesses through rapid organic growth and growth through acquisition.

Over the past decades, Karl has earned his CPA, both an MBA as well as a B.A. in Economics from Rice University, and a business valuation certification.
